The European Business and Technology Centre (EBTC) is delighted to invite you to participate in the 'EBTC Environment Flagship Mission 2012' to be held in New Delhi, India, from 29th to 31st October, 2012. The event is being held at the 'India Water Impact Summit 2012' in collaboration with a Consortium of 7 Indian Institutes of Technologies (IITs) and ETI Dynamics, a UK-based economic development enterprise and the international coordinator for the event.



EBTC along with partners, IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute; Finpro and Lyon Chamber of Commerce, invite you to this important event that will provide the necessary impetus of developing water and environment infrastructure along the river Ganga and other water bodies in India. The event will provide a perfect opportunity for environmental industry players from both Europe and India to develop a collaborative network.



The Mission aims to showcasing the tremendous opportunity for clean technological solutions from EU to address the environmental degradation across most of the Indian rivers, including their entire network and watershed. In particular, the event will focus on relevant and ready-to-go opportunities in the water, wastewater and other environmental projects and technologies within the overall framework of the Ganga River Basin Environment Management Plan.



This event is open to any EU organisation or individual, including small medium sized enterprises (SME) and research institutions, interested in exploring the best Indian opportunities in the clean energy sector.

The delegation will enable you to gain an understanding of the larger Indian market for water, wastewater and other environmental business opportunities. Spread over three days, the event will include a multitude of activities including high-end workshops; B2B / B2G meetings, site visits and networking sessions.



As a part of the mission, it is the objective of the EBTC business and research delegation to assist EU companies and researchers in their venture to India, as well as identify needs within India and facilitate the transfer of clean energy technology to the Indian market. As a result of this mission, we hope to see greater EU-Indian collaboration and partnership in the clean tech arena, and EBTC looks forward to supporting you in your journey towards exploring opportunities in India.
