PGTI Players Championship by Oxford Golf & Country Club

The tournament carries a total prize purse of Rs. 2.5 million. The tournament will feature most of the big names of Indian professional golf such as Gaganjeet Bhullar, defending champion Anirban Lahiri, Ashok Kumar, Mukesh Kumar, Shamim Khan, Chiragh Kumar, Sujjan Singh, Himmat Singh Rai, Manav Jaini, Shankar Das, Sanjay Kumar, Raju Ali Mollah, Mandeo Singh Pathania, Vijay Kumar, Gaurav Ghei, Harmeet Kahlon, Rashid Khan and Pune’s Gurki Shergill, to name a few. Mr. Rohan Seolekar, Director, Oxford Golf & Country Club, said, “We look forward to hosting the top professionals in the country during the PGTI Players Championship. We believe that our partnership with the Oxford Golf & Country Club will go a long way in promoting professional golf in Pune.” The picturesque Oxford Golf Course, designed by Phil Ryan, is built on 136 acres of horse-shoe shaped land surrounded by the Sahyadri Hills on three sides. There is a height difference of 88 metres within the golf course. The large greens and sparkling white sand bunkers also give the course a distinct identity. The overall landscaping is designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding hills.
