Congress thanks giving Rally

A massive thanks giving rally by farmers,women and rural folks of Congress frontal wings, to felicitate UPA chairperson Mrs Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Dr Man Mohan Singh especially for the Rs. 600 billion loan waiver for small and marginal farmers.This public rally a barometer testing strength,know pulse of the people along with sending signal to nation for the ensuing MP and state elections in the country.
Pradesh Congress Committee Chief of surrounding Delhi states of Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh were coordinated to get their congress supporters for todays rally.
A nearly million supporter are participating in Union Budget thanks giving rally which will be addressed by the DPCC chief Mr J P Aggarwal Rajya Sabha member,UPA Chairperson Mrs Soni Gandhi and Prime Minister Dr Man Mohan Singh at Ramlilla Ground New Delhi.

'The Pradesh Congress Committees of all north Indian states and especially those of Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh have been sounded,' Congress secretary Tom Vadakkan said.

'The rally will dispel all the canards being spread by opposition parties about the budget and especially the farm loan waiver,' Congress spokesperson Manish Tiwari said.
Rally is being billed to be a grand affair and will be followed by similar exercises in the states.The rally at Ramlila Maidan will be attended by farmers from northern states like Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh besides Delhi.

Congress leaders say that the party Chief Ministers and PCC chiefs are also expected to attend the rally.DPCC chief J P Aggarwal said the rally will exclusively focus on the benefits doled out by the UPA government through the recent budgets suggesting that the Congress party is with and for the common man.



AICC spokesperson Jayanti Natrajan aid a meeting of the PCC chiefs and CLP leaders has been called on March ten to decide upon state-level conventions and rallies to reach out to the people, especially farmers.
