New Delhi, November 6, 2016:  “CHHATH PUJA” one of the auspicious festivals of Purvanchal celebrated in Neb Sarai, New Delhi. The event was lighted up with the special appearance and live performance of BJP MP and Bhojpuri singer and actor Manoj Tiwari with him Amrapali Dubey (Bhojpuri actor) and Dinesh Lal Yadav (Nirhua) {Bhojpuri Super Star). These actors cheers the audience with their continuous 2 hours live performance.  Chief Guest of the day Shri Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India), Shri Anil Jain, National General Secretary, Chhattisgarh BJP, Shri Ramesh Bidhuri, BJP M.P. South Delhi, Shri Kartar Singh Tanwar, MLA, Chhatarpur, Delhi AAP and Shri Sanjay Thakur graces the event

Organizer of Chhath Puja Committee Sanjay Thakur said “The most important festival of Purvanchal has now become the national festival which is not only celebrated in the country but also celebrated across the world. The Chhath 
Puja is performed in order to thank Surya for sustaining life on earth and to request the granting of certain wishes. It has a scientific reason also as sun worship is believed to help cure a variety of diseases and ensure the longevity and prosperity of family members, friends, and elders.

Majoj Tiwari greets and wishes the audience with his famous song of Chhath “Chat Maiya de de lanava…Chhathi maiya ke laagat darbar… and cheered the crowd for more than 3 hours. He said “it is the festival of unity which helps to bond all the cast, region of inequality. I am happy and thankful to the Governor of Delhi and BJP government to announce Chhath Puja as a public holiday. Government has done a very good job in cleaning the Puja Ghats, its decoration and security.
