Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd. organizes a Cyclathon in association with NorthEast United FC (NEUFC)

·         The event was conducted in support of Swasth and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

·         Participants from Team Kansai Nerolac Paints, painters, contractorand dealers were part of this initiative

Guwahati, November 10, 2016: Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd., one of India’s leading paint companies organised a Cyclathon today at Guwahati. The event promoted a Swasth and Swachh Bharat.

Footballers Katsumi Yusa, Holicharan Narzary, Jerry Mawihmingthanga from NorthEast United FC were also present at the event and lent their support to this initiative. Recently Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd, announced its partnership with Guwahati based Indian Super League (ISL) franchise NorthEast United FC as its associate sponsor for the 3rd Edition of the Indian Super League which began from October 1st, 2016.

We are happy to be able to associate with a local home for children and make a difference in their lives by gifting them a colourful environment painted with Nerolac’s Healthy Home range of paints. Recently we organised a similar Cyclathon simultaneously across 41 cities in India to commemorate the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. We were overwhelmed by the support and encouragement we received from our dealers, painters across the cities, supporting this commitment for healthier homes and healthy, happy lives.”

The event witnessed participation from over 100 individuals from Kansai Nerolac Paints, dealers, painters and contractors, children and the footballers. It was flagged off from Snehalaya, home for children at Paltan Bazaar and traversed a distance of 3 kms. 

Katsumi Yusa from NorthEast United FC who was present at the event said, “Healthy living should be a priority for everybody. Being a sportsman, I completely support health and wellness and our entire team is very happy to be associated with Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd to promote such a great initiative.”

Added Halicharan Narzary from NorthEast United FC, “The Nerolac Cyclathon has created a buzz within the team. I would like to thank Nerolac for inviting us to participate. We also interacted with our young fans, inspiring us to do more both on and off the field.” 

Jerry Mawihmingthanga from NorthEast United FC said “The support from the fans has always been incredible and works as a great morale booster. The cyclathon is a great opportunity to interact with our supporters while promoting healthy lives and a ‘Swachh Bharat.”
