The
high-speed Delhi Airport Express Metro will now run every 12 minutes,
for three hours in the morning and evening, starting from Monday to
cater to the rising number of footfalls at peak hours. The Metro train
would now ferry commuters at an interval of 12 minutes between 8 AM and
11 AM and between 5 PM and 8 PM. During non-peak hours, Metro trains would maintain running at every 15 minutes. Delhi Airport Express Metro official said, that in addition to the four trains already operating in this line, one more train has been deployed, creating a 25 per cent additional passenger carrying capacity during peak hours
