Kazakhstan flood
In Kyzylagash village in Kazakhstan,the Aksus area of the Almaty region will be paid 500 thousand KZT and their houses will be repaired.
Due to heavy precipitation and increase of the air temperature on March 11 at 22.20 there was the dam burst in the Aksus area on the water basin of Kyzylagash. It flooded 257 houses in the village Kyzylagash where 3 thousand people live, the press service of the Emergency Ministry informed.According to the information, death toll in Kyzylagash has reached 30 people. There are children among victims.
President of Kazakhstan Mr Nursultan Nazarbayev,"On behalf of the people of Kazakhstan and myself personally I deeply condole with the families of victims and all the injured in the accident."
"The government's commission for studying of the reasons and liquidation of the consequences of the accident and rendering the necessary help to the victims has been created by the president's order." during the meeting with the members of the Cabinet of Ministers in Akorda assigned the regional and Astana and Almaty akims to check dams in order to prevent accidents, the agency reports.
