UP police has to produce UPCC chief Rita Joshi Bahuguna at CJM of Moradabad for her alleged derogatory and inflammatory speech at the city yesterday against UP CM Mayawati,Rita said "In UP if Dalits are raped then officials go there give them Rs 20,000. Is this the value for a Dalit lady. If the same thing happens with Mayawati we are ready tp give her conpensation of one crore," said Bahugana in Muradabad when addressing a small gathering. Rita has been booked under non-bailable sections,under 153 A (delivering inflammatory speeches), section 109 of IPC (using abusive language), 7 Criminal Law Amendment Act besides SC/ST Atrocities Prevention Act", and court verdict to go against her. Congress party has announced to fight out the legal battle between BSP and their UPCC President. Protest rallies will take place on saturday in each district by Congress workers.The protest action have double effect with SP also supporting Rita and protest to begin in all districts of UP. President of Uttar Pradesh unit of Congress Rita Bahuguna Joshi was today arrested in Ghaziabad district and a portion of her house set on fire by BSP supporters for making allegedly inflammatory speech in Moradabad district and her . "Joshi has been arrested in Ghaziabad while she was on her way to Delhi. She has been booked under 153 A (delivering inflammatory speeches), section 109 of IPC (using abusive language), 7 Criminal Law Amendment Act besides SC/ST Atrocities Prevention Act", Additional Director General of Police Brij Lal said. He said some rowdy elements forced their way into the house of Joshi in Lucknow and set a portion of it afire damaging property and vehicles parked there. "The fire has been doused and police force has been deployed there. Security has also been enhanced at the Allahabd residence of the leader (Joshi)", he said.
